I instantly understood how to make it work and was done with my first scans and recoveries within a few minutes. The developers really spent some time making sure it was Mac user friendly. Upon opening it the first time, I was surprised at how closely it resembled a native Mac app.
I immediately liked the premise of Disk Drill because of it’s multi-purpose nature. I’ve used data recovery tools before and they seem clunky and only serve one purpose.
When I first installed the app, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. Been unable to access a memory card (SD card, Flash card, XD card, etc.).Lost music on your iPod (Nano, Mini, Shuffle or Classic).Erased photos from a camera and erased videos from a camcorder.Lost a partition on an external hard drive and lost music on an MP3 player.Deleted files from your Mac’s internal hard drive and deleted documents from a USB flash drive.
